Three years after Wankhede brawl, child rights panel orders FIR against Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan had in 2012 reportedly abused a security guard at the stadium when the latter refused to let him enter.
Mumbai Police had registered a non-cognisable offence against Khan and three others and the actor was banned from entering the MCA premises for five years by a panel headed by late union minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.
Three years after actor Shah Rukh Khan allegedly got into a argument with a security guard at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MSCPCR) on Friday directed the Mumbai Police to register an FIR against the actor.
Khan had in 2012 reportedly abused a security guard at the stadium when the latter refused to let him enter the stadium ground with his children after an Indian Premier League cricket match, and the Marine Drive police had at the time registered a Non-Cognisable complaint (NC) against the actor.
Advocate Abha Singh, subsequently, approached the children’s commission seeking action against Khan for using abusive language in the presence of his children.
