Top most searched celebs 2025: As the year comes to an end, Google India has unveiled the top searches of 2025, releasing the list of the most searched actors and media personalities. They announced four names — three actors and one YouTuber — who dominated Google trends throughout the year.
Saif Ali Khan has emerged as the most searched actor on Google in 2025. It was a difficult year for the Bollywood star. The actor was brutally stabbed by an intruder in February while he was trying to save his son, Jehangir Ali Khan, from the attacker who had entered the child’s room. While Saif bravely fought the intruder alone, he was stabbed in the back, leading to a spine injury. The actor remained in the news for months following the attack as he recovered and the intruder was eventually arrested.
The names many predicted to appear on this list are the year’s most talked-about debutants — Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda — who took the nation by storm as their debut film Saiyaara became a massive box office hit. Ahaan Panday became the second most searched actor in India in 2025, while Aneet was placed at number four.
While Ahaan comes from a film family — he is the cousin of Bollywood actor Ananya Panday and nephew of Chunky Panday — Aneet is an outsider who auditioned for Saiyaara and landed the female lead role. Both Ahaan and Aneet had a dream launch in director Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, backed by Yash Raj Films, the same studio responsible for introducing several A-list stars over the years, including Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. Apart from their film creating massive buzz, rumours of the on-screen pair dating in real life also added to the hype, leading them to become two of the most searched actors of 2025.
YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia was the third most searched celebrity on Google this year. The YouTuber landed in controversy after his vulgar remark on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. His comment drew widespread criticism and outrage across social media. Though he apologised for the same, multiple FIRs were registered against him and his podcast was temporarily halted by the court. However, in March 2025, the Supreme Court allowed him to resume The Ranveer Show on the condition that he would maintain “morality and decency.”
