Mika Singh ‘felt bad’ when Anant Ambani didn’t gift him a Rs 2 crore watch, requests a Rs 1 crore watch instead: ‘Next time dekhenge’
Mika Singh shared that he was expecting to get a luxury watch costing at least Rs 1 crore from Anant Ambani.

Anant Ambani’s extravagant wedding in 2024 was attended by some of the most popular stars of the country, and many international celebrities were also present at the many festivities that were held throughout the year. On his wedding day, Anant gifted luxury watches to his groomsmen. Mika Singh, who was one of the performers at the wedding , recently shared that he felt bad that he did not get a Rs 2 crore watch, and added that he would like a watch that costs at least Rs 1 crore.
In a chat with Pinkvilla, Mika said that many people criticised the Ambanis for spending so much money on the wedding, but he said that they also generated a lot of employment opportunities via the wedding festivities. “Anant Ambani just got married and I was there. A lot of people were mad at them for spending so much money. If, for example, 2000 people came for the wedding, so many people must have been hired to prepare the food, they gained employment. If, through one wedding, 1 lakh people gain employment, then I would say ‘Anant ji, party like this every day’. I would salute him and I am not trying to flatter him. I would rather thank him,” he said.
Mika said that even designers like Manish Malhotra made a lot of money because of the wedding, as many guests bought their outfits from him. “Manish Malhotra ki puri dukan chal rahi hai (Manish Malhotra’s business is doing great). Why not? If one person’s wedding can do so much for others, then it’s great,” he said.
Mika then expressed that he was upset that Anant did not gift him a luxury watch. Anant gifted a Audemars Piguet limited-edition luxury watch, which costs over Rs 2 crore, to each of his groomsmen. “Anant bhai, mujhe bada feel hua. Sab log ghadiya dikha rahe the apni aur aapne mujhe ghadi nahi di yaar. Chalo next time dekhenge (Anant bro, I felt bad. Everyone was showing off their watches and you didn’t give me one. We’ll see next time.)” he said and added, “Anant bhai jab bhi aapko mauka mile, jo bhi aapki ichcha hai, 2 crore ki ghadi, 1 crore ki ghadi, isse neeche nahi. Main ready hu lene ke liye. Main kabhi mana nahi karta (Anant bro, whenever you get time, whatever you feel like, a Rs 2 crore watch, a Rs 1 crore watch, nothing below that. I am ready to take it. I never say no).” The watches were gifted to the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Veer Pahariya among others.
The wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant started in March 2024 in Jamnagar with Rihanna performing for the guests. Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan also took the stage and entertained the guests. The festivities then moved to Europe during the summer, as the family hosted a cruise for celebrity guests, and hosted special performance by The Backstreet Boys. The wedding was held in Mumbai in July, with Justin Bieber performing at the sangeet.
