Lokesh Kanagaraj calls world of Jawan ‘explosively stunning’; Vignesh Shivan gives shoutout to wife Nayanthara for her ‘dream debut’

The prevue of Atlee’s upcoming film Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, is getting all the love from cinephiles. The film also stars an ‘army of girls’ including Nayanthara, who makes her Hindi debut. Her husband and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan is floored by the prevue. He shared his reaction to it on social media.

Sharing the promo of Jawan, Vignesh wrote how he found it to be of ‘international’ standard. He also praised director Atlee who is making his Bollywood debut with the movie and mentioned how he found Nayanthara to be ‘hot’ in the teaser.

Vignesh wrote on Instagram, “How can you not be proud of @atlee47 when he comes up with a banger with his Bollywood debut! Looks international! So much efforts, patience and hard work! A big hug, hatss off!”

Vignesh Shivan shared his views about Jawan on social media.

He added, “Congrats to #Nayanthara lookin (hot face emoji) dream debut with the King @iamsrk for my Thangam & my king @anirudhofficial killin it sooo well here! Kudos to @actorvijaysethupathi sir (red heart emoji) @redchillies.color @livingstonruben #VishnuDop @kunalrajan.”

Besides Nayanthara, Jawan stars an ensemble of female actors including Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra among others. Deepika Padukone has a special appearance in the film. The prevue gives a glimpse of Shah Rukh’s possible vigilante character, as he mounts his army of women.

Thangalaan director Pa Ranjith called the prevue of Atlee’s film “interesting” and Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj found it to be “exhilarating”. Kanagaraj tweeted, “The World of Jawan is explosively stunning and exhilarating! What a way to make the debut brothers @Atlee_dir and @anirudhofficial❤️❤️ @VijaySethuOffl looks stunning as always! Congratulations and wishing the absolute best to the entire cast and crew of #Jawan.”

Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar was also impressed as he wrote on Twitter, “Superbbb 🔥💥 gonna be a massive debut @Atlee_dir 🤗 @anirudhofficial 😘 with @iamsrk sirr 👑🔥🔥 #jawan.” Karan Johar already predicted that the film will be a ‘blockbuster’ as he posted on Instagram, “BHAI!!! This is going to be a juggernaut of a blockbuster. And @atlee47 you’ve done it again!!!! Wowwww, can’t wait #Jawan.”

Jawan has been written and directed by Atlee, with Hindi dialogues penned by Sumit Purohit. The movie is scheduled to release on September 7.
