“Thank you so much my dear friend Manisha. I have learnt so much about this beautiful Country Nepal, its culture and lovely people Of Nepal from you,” he wrote.
The two, who have shared screen space in films like Criminal, Lajja and many others, share a rare bond.
On the work front, Manisha made a comeback with Dear Maya, which released earlier this year. The film, directed by Sunaina Bhatnagar, also starred Shreya Chaudhary and Madiha Imam. Post this, the actor would also be seen sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Dutt biopic, directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
The actor would be playing Nargis Dutt, mother of Sanjay Dutt. Talking about the role, she told indianexpress.com in an interview earlier, “To play her is a great honour. She is a legendary figure, no matter how forward we go, or whatever, her name would always be remembered, she would always be tagged as a legendary actor. She is a historical figure of the Bollywood industry. People remember her for films,” said the actor, who is known for her incredible work in the past, especially in Dil Se, Khamoshi, Company and many others.”
Manisha played the title role of a lonely woman in the movie residing in the hill town of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
