After Kareena Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai, yet another actress who will be getting the honour of having a wax statue at Madame Tussauds, London is Katrina Kaif. The museum which showcases the fame and glory of historical characters, iconic legends and superheroes, have apparently sent a letter to Katrina Kaif expressing their interest to install her statue.

We hear that the actress received the letter last weekend and was enthralled to have been bestowed with this honour. In fact, she is also in talks with the authorities of Madame Tussauds. However, a decision will be made only by next week. Currently, there is a poll being conducted on the official site of Madame Tussauds London where Katrina Kaif is pitted against her contemporaries Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

If the decision is in Katrina’s favour, then the actress too will be invited to unveil the statue. As far as the look for the sculpture is concerned, they are considering her saree clad look of Raajneeti, her peppy casual look in Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, her sexy avatar in ‘Chikni Chameli’ (Agneepath, 2012) and ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ (Tees Maar Khan) among others.

While Amitabh Bachchan was the first celebrity to have received this honour of a wax statue at Madame Tussauds, it was Madhuri Dixit who unveiled her wax statue recently. Apart from them, the museum also has the sculptures of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
