Kollywood star Karthi took to his social media handle and shared pictures with thirteen-time WWE World Champion John Cena. Karthi was also pictured with other wrestlers at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, likely for a promotional event. The wrestlers are here for the WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 in Hyderabad.
Taking to social media, Karthi shared a picture in which he was seen shaking John Cena’s hand. He wrote in the caption, “A great pleasure meeting you @johncena. Thank you for being so kind and warm. It’s wonderful how you could make everyone feel special in those few minutes. Hustle Loyalty Respect – felt all of that.”
According to reports, Karthi was recently working on a secret project with WWE Tag Team members Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, who are also set to compete in a tag team match on Friday.
Sony Sports shared pictures of Karthi, Owens and Zayn and wrote, “Superstars @Karthi_Offl, @FightOwensFight & @SamiZayn have something fun cooking. For loads of entertainment coming your way, stay tuned on to #SonySportsNetwork.”
Seth Rollins, Jinder Mahal, Natalya, Drew McIntyre, and Gunther have also arrived in India for the event. Cena and Rollins are set to team up against Indian-origin stars, while Rhea Ripley will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Natalya.
On the work front, Karthi was last seen in the film Ponniyin Selvan 2.
