Kareena Kapoor is the highest tax-paying female celebrity in India, Kiara Advani, Katrina Kaif follow: report

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is the highest tax-payer among all the Indian celebrities in 2024. According to the Fortune India report, the actor has paid a total of Rs 92 crore. The Dunki star is followed by Thalapathy Vijay, who paid Rs 80 crore and Salman Khan, who gave a tax of Rs 75 crore. Meanwhile, this makes Vijay the only South star to make it to the top 3 in the list of highest tax-payer. The actor’s much-awaited film GOAT: Greatest of All Time released in theatres on September 5. The other two South stars to make it to the list are Mohanlal and Allu Arjun with a tax of Rs 14 crore each.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her upcoming thriller film Buckingham Murders. The film, produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, is directed by Hansal Mehta. The film is set in London. She was last seen in the films Crew and Jaane Jaan, which had a direct-to-OTT release on Netflix, also starring actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.
