Looks like Baahubali actor Prabhas’ price is too big for Bollywood. After devoting five years of his career to the mega SS Rajamouli film, Prabhas obviously has a new standard to live upto. “Prabhas had devoted five years of his life to the two Baahubali films and it was only fair that he would want to cash in on his new success,” told a source to DNA. And reportedly, Prabhas has also asked for a new, inflated price.
“But the price he asked for was staggering. While it was okay for him to ask and get his desired price — reportedly in the vicinity of Rs 20 crores — in Telugu cinema, it was unrealistic for Prabhas to expect that kind of remuneration in Bollywood. No South Indian actor, not even Rajinikanth, has that kind of commercial clout in Hindi cinema. Prabhas has clearly out-priced himself from Bollywood,” added the source.
Only recently, reports of Karan Johar being keen on launching Prabhas in Bollywood with a Dharma film were doing the rounds on the web. But now, after listening to Prabhas’ price, Karan has, reportedly, called it quits. Says a source, “After Baahubali and its sequel, Karan was keen to launch Prabhas in Hindi cinema. But on seeing the price he was asking, Karan has decided to abandon the idea of launching him,” reports DNA.
Dear Ambition…if you have to achieve your full potential stay away from your arch nemesis….Comparison!

In the light of these events, it also makes sense to look at Karan’s latest tweets. Karan tweets, “Dear Ambition…if you have to achieve your full potential stay away from your arch nemesis….Comparison!”
Could this be a dig at Prabhas? What do you think?
