Bollywood superstar and reality show ‘Bigg Boss 8’ host Salman Khan, once again hinted on his and Shah Rukh Khan’s soured friendship and made it clear to his fans that he and SRK are not friends and have gone their own way.
On Bigg Boss 8, the actor asked Sukirti, one of the contestants who was eliminated from the show, whom will she miss the most from the house. Sukirti replied, “Upen and Arya and calls them Karan Arjun, as they are always spotted together.”
To this, Salman said that this Karan-Arjun (hinting about SRK and Salman, who had worked in the 1995 film) are no longer together. “Yeh Karan Arjun (Salman and Shah Rukh) sath me nehi rehte, alag alag raste chale gaye.”
Salman has time and again said that he and SRK are just acquaintances and not friends.
However, earlier Salman Khan said he would love to have the cast of Shah Rukh’s upcoming film ‘Happy New Year’ on his show to promote their film.
“We will do a lot of promotions of ‘Happy New Year’. The team does not need to worry. Though it is up to them if they want to come to the show or not, we will promote it,” said Salman at the launch of ‘Big Boss 8′.
Salman has shown support for the movie previously also by praising its trailer on Twitter.
“Just saw happy new year ka promo. Its kick ass,” the ‘Dabangg’ star had tweeted.
The two superstars, who had a public fall out in 2008, have been seen warming up to each other in the recent past, from praising each other in interviews to sharing warm greetings at parties. But has also made it clear several times that SRK will only be an acquaintance for him and not friends.
