Kapil Sharma as Manga in his upcoming film, Firangi, is receiving good response from his fans, critics and contemporaries. The trailer has managed to touch 2 million views on YouTube and the actor is overwhelmed with such a response. In fact, his new Bollywood avatar, where he has shed his signature funny image, has sort of impressed and stunned the audience as they are seeing a new Kapil altogether. So, Firangi has given many reasons for Kapil to celebrate, and the actor thought of sharing his happiness with the evergreen Gurdaas Maan.

The comedian-turned-actor shared a picture on Twitter where we can see both him and Gurdaas Maan cutting a success cake. The actor wrote, “Celebrating the success of the trailer of #firangi with our loving @gurdasmaan sahib at their place.” Not just the audience, Kapil’s trailer received warm response from his The Kapil Sharma Show co-stars too. Ali Asgar, who presently hosts Lip Sing Battle with Farah Khan, took to Twitter and wrote, “Trailer very promising and different Kapil..@KapilSharmaK9 Congratultions and All the best.”

Even Chandan Prabhakar appreciated Kapil and his new film. He wrote, “One word for ur trailer is…SUPERB. @KapilSharmaK9 n @dhingra_rajiv. ..wish u all the very best for 24th Nov. #FirangiTrailer. Love” However, Sunil Grover maintained a silence on the trailer.

At the press conference during the trailer launch, Kapil Sharma got candid about his life and spoke about the infamous mid-air spat with Sunil Grover. The actor confessed that he was facing a lot of pressure of the show that was happening in Australia, and a death of a fellow artist from Firangi added to his stress.
