Kapil out of Bank Chor

Sources from Sharma’s side informed us of the difficulty in coordinating dates between the actor and the production house.

Kapil Sharma of Comedy Nights with Kapil fame will no longer be part of Yash Raj Films’ project titled Bank Chor. The announcement was made early on Thursday. The film, under YRF’s Youth Films Division, which is currently under-production, is the story of three people who pick the worst day possible to rob a bank. As a result, they get caught in a crossfire between the police, the industrialists and the corrupt politicians.

Ashish Patil, Business & Creative Head, Youth Films, Talent Management & Brand Partnerships at Yash Raj Films, said, “We will look forward to working together in future when the time is right.”

Sources from Sharma’s side informed us of the difficulty in coordinating dates between the actor and the production house. Due to contractual agreements with Colors, Sharma cannot stall the shooting for the TV show. The film, which is directed by Bumpy, is scheduled to release next year.
