Janhvi Kapoor says she found her morphed photos on ‘almost pornographic pages’ as a teenager

As a teenager, Janhvi was in for a rude shock when she found her morphed photographs on “inappropriate, almost pornographic pages.” The actor added that there has been an increase of fake images “more so with today’s advanced AI.” She said that when people see these “manipulated images,” they assume them to be “real” and this deeply concerns her.

The Bawaal actor shared that she faced a “lot of judgement” from a very young age, even when she willingly stepped into the spotlight and this led to “a lot of questioning of one’s self-worth from a very young age.” She shared that even her teachers “changed” their attitude towards her. There were many around her who implied that she did not need to work as she was famous and this led to “weird taunts” that she didn’t understand at that age.

Recently, Kareena Kapoor spoke about her sons Taimur and Jeh, getting photographed from a young age. At the Express Adda, Kareena said that Taimur started asking questions about photographers clicking him when he was around four. She said, “He was quite smart because he knew that we were actors, as I had told him we were in the movies. And he just turned around and told me, ‘But I am not famous. Why are they clicking my picture?'” She added, “But he knows that he’s not famous and he doesn’t like it.”
