The film, starring actors Riteish Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Isha Koppikar, created a cult and shot the stars to fame. Actress Isha Koppikar’s character became a fan favourite.

She played the role of an inspector in search of a serial rapist. Unlike her other sophisticated roles, in Kya Kool Hai Hum, Isha played a local Maharastrian with a specific dialect and accent.
