A few days back we saw pictures of Hrithik Roshan and mathematician Anand Kumar’s meeting, but we also heard rumours that Hrithik might not be a part of the film, which is titled ‘Super 30’. However, finally a confirmation on the same is here and Hrithik has been officially signed up to play the mathematician in ‘Super 30’.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, ‘Super 30’ is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who trains 30 deserving, economically backward students for the entrance exams of IIT each year with commendable success rate.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Monday morning shared the news on Twitter. He said,” #BreakingNews: Hrithik Roshan to play mathematician #AnandKumar in his biopic, titled #Super30… Vikas Bahl will direct the film.”

Mathematician Anand Kumar expressed his excitement about ‘Super 30’. He said, “I can totally trust Vikas Bahl with my life’s story as I’m confident he will make a heartfelt film out of my story. I am very happy because Hrithik Roshan is the best choice for the role. I’ve seen his work and the kind of versatility and range that he exhibits as an actor is very strong. I am a rooted guy so I feel some level of an emotional quotient is required to live my life on screen. I have seen that in Hrithik on and off screen. I have full faith in his capabilities.”
Earlier Anand, who seemed extremely happy to have met the Kaabil actor, had posted his pictures with Hrithik on Facebook and wrote, “Just returned to Patna from Mumbai. But really I can’t forget my meeting yesterday with Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. The way he invited me to his house and gave me the honour really showed that he is not just a great artist but also a great human being. Thanks Hrithik ji, thanks a lot.”
Katrina Kaif too been spotted with Super 30 founder Anand Kumar and buzz is that she is all set to feature in the latter’s biopic alongside Hrithik Roshan. However, a confirmation on this is still awaited.
Sharing the pictures with Katrina too, mathematician Anand Kumar had posted, “Had a long chat with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif today.”
