How Archies cast led by Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor get along with each other, Zoya Akhtar answers

As the excitement for Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film The Archies continues to build, its star-studded cast is becoming increasingly engaged in its promotional activities. The ensemble includes Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Aditi Saigal, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda. Just like their on-screen camaraderie, the cast members of The Archies share a strong bond off-screen as well, revealed the film’s director Zoya Akhtar in a recent interview.

In a conversation with Vogue India, Zoya witnessed Khushi and Suhana enthusiastically cheering on Yuvraj Menda as he posed for a photo. Observing this, Zoya said, “I hope it stays this way.” During the interview, the filmmaker expressed that the cast of The Archies has been genuinely supportive of each other during the film’s production, and she hopes they continue to uphold this spirit. She said, “I hope they champion each other throughout the course of their respective careers because they’ve been so good—they’ve been good for each other and they’ve been good with each other.”

Earlier, Zoya took to Instagram to share a snapshot with the lead actors of The Archies and extended her congratulations for their first billboard display in Mumbai. She wrote, “Your first hoarding is up kiddos 💥May there be many more ⭐️ May you never stop working hard and forever remain wide eyed ♥️ I wish you the world.”

Scheduled to premiere on Netflix on December 7, The Archies marks the acting debut of Suhana Khan, the daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan; Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor; and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
