After a much appreciated role in ‘Masaan’, Vicky Kaushal is back with another stellar performance in Anurag Kashyap’s Raman Raghav 2.0. The actor will be playing the role of Raghav who is a cop living on the edge influenced by all the vices.

He is a cop in the film who doesn’t play by the rule and is a drug addict. To make a cocaine like looking powder, the team made a special powder out of Glucon-D and Corn Starch. Vicky Kaushal practiced inhaling this powder to give his takes.

As per sources, not just that, as a part of his role Vicky actually landed up getting himself addicted to having 3-4 packets of cigarettes a day.

Playing a character that is fray shaded required Vicky to don a role as close to reality as possible, and thus the talented young actor took to doing things as authentically as possible.

The film was also premiered at Cannes Film Festival this year, where the team received standing ovation. The film also stars Nawazzudin Siddique in lead role.

Raman Raghav 2.0, a psychological-thriller, is all set to hit theaters on June 24.
