Southern filmmaker SS Rajamouli has denied rumours that he has cast Hollywood actor Nathan Jones in his next ambitious project Baahubali.
There were reports that the Australian actor, who is best known for starring in films like Troy and Conan The Barbarian, was part of the period drama. But the director took to Twitter to clear the air about the cast of the film. “No Hollywood actors are signed for Baahubali. False news again,” Rajamouli posted on Twitter.
Baahubali stars Prabhas,Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati. The big budget film will be simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil. It will also be dubbed in Malayalam,Hindi and in several foreign languages.
Rajamouli rose to fame in Bollywood after his Telugu film Eega was translated in Hindi as Makkhi. The director’s other film Maryada Ramanna was also remade as Son Of Sardaar last year, starring Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt.
