Actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, have been making headlines for months. They’ve been rumoured to be going through a difficult patch in their marriage, and it was recently reported that Sunita filed for divorce for the second time, alleging adultery, cruelty and desertion. Now, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the couple made a joint appearance and had an interaction with the media to shut down the speculation.
On Wednesday, Govinda and Sunita interacted with the media, and confirmed that everything is fine between them. She said, “Aaj itna close, close… agar kuch hota toh hum itne nazdeek hotey? Humaari dooriyan hoti! Koi hum dono ko alag nahi kar sakta hain, chahe upar se koi aa jaaye bhagwan aa jaaye, koi shaitaan aa jaaye. Koi nahi alag kar sakta hai (If something had happened between us, would we be so close today? There would have been distance between us. No one can separate us, not even if God or a devil comes down).”
