The makers of Golmaal Again have released the second video song of the movie starring the ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Tabu, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor. The song titled “Maine Tujhko Dekha” has Ajay aka Gopal swooning over Parineeti and his gang warning him to stay away. While the whole setup–a bunch of backdrop dancers dancing with the entire cast, exquisite locales, sparkling colours popping out of the screen and actors dancing on top of a train is giving us the feel of a typical Rohit Shetty directed song, the surprise drops in when the music of the song plays.
The moment you hear the tune of “Maine Tujhko Dekha” you will be taken back to the 90s number “Neend Churayi Meri” from the movie Ishq which had biggies like Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Ajay Devgn and Kajol in it. But wait before you think about it as another rehashed version of a chartbuster. Apart from the catch line, “Neend Churayi Meri Kisne O Sanam”, the entire lyrics of the song have been reworked by the lyricist Kumaar.

Sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Sukriti Kakar, the song might not make a place in your playlist right away but as you play it on a loop and see the happy dance of the actors in the video, you will end up grooving on it and singing along with Parineeti and Ajay.

Touted as the biggest comedy film of the year, the song has some funny dialogues of Arshad Warsi which are a hilarious take on the age gap between Ajay and Parineeti. Teasing Ajay, Arshad says, “Every girl looks for a father figure in her partner and you are almost her father’s age.” And if the dialogues were not enough to pull Ajay’s leg, Parineeti’s tweet while sharing the song does the rest. She tweeted, “Never thought I’d be dancing with @ajaydevgn on his own hit song! Grew up watching this on TV 😍 #MaineTujhkoDekha.”
