According to a report published in DNA, “Omung already has three-four names in mind and they are not newcomers. The movie will capture Dalbir’s battle but it is not entirely about that. It is also about the struggles Sarabjit faced while in Pakistan. He will be talking to few actors and finally decide on someone in a few days.”

The names are Farhan Akhtar, Randeep Hooda, Sonu Sood and Fawad Khan.

With a successfull biopic like ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ to his credit, Farhan Akhatr seems to be the perfect choice for the role. The talented actor can also be expected to bring the emotional nuances to the character.

Randeep Hooda, known for his restrained and mature acting, also can be a powerful contender for the role.

Sonu Sood, popular more for his chiseled body and good looks, has performances like that of ‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’ to his name.

Fawad Khan has taken the nation by storm with his persona and acting in TV series ‘Humsafar’ and ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ and Bollywood debut in ‘Khoobsurat’ and hence, can be a good choice for the movie.

The movie is expected to go on floors this October and is slated to be premiered at the Cannes Film Festival next year.
