Bachchan’s post got a lot of reactions and netizens warned him against watching the upcoming ICC World Cup final match on Sunday.

A user wrote in the comment section, “Dont watch final match please sir 🙏.” Other comments on Big B’s post read, “Please make another sacrifice Sir and stay away from Finals too!,” “Haha stay indoors Bachan saahab”

One user wrote, “Don’t watch final match sir.” Another one said, “Stay indoors, Bachchan sahab.” A third user commented in Hindi, “Let’s do some arrangement to lock him into a remote island on the day of World Cup final,” “Finals bhi matt dekhna sir🙏🏻.”

Reacting to Big B’s new post too, a fan wrote, “Please mat jaana aur Na hi us din Tv pr match dekhna🙏.” “मत जाइए sir।। अगर आप नही गए तो पक्का जीतेंगे।। 🙏,” wrote another user.

Way back in 2011, Abhishek Bachchan talked about his dad and actor Amitabh Bachchan’s superstitions and revealed that Amitabh does not see the match (when India plays) since he believes that every time he watches the match, an Indian wicket would fall, so he does not come out of his room. Abhishek shared, “Dad is superstitious when it comes to Indian team. He will not see the final match…he will be in his room. Dad decided not to watch the match just to let India win. Mom (Jaya) and Aishwarya go to his room and give updates on the score.”

India and Australia’s final ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 match will start at 2 pm in India this Sunday.
