The bail plea of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan will continue to be heard by the Bombay High Court on Wednesday. Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, former Attorney General for India, appeared for Aryan Khan in the case on Tuesday. He argued that Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had made no recovery from the 23-year-old, nor conducted a medical examination to show consumption of any narcotic. He also said that the WhatsApp chats recovered from his client’s phone were from 2018.

“NCB said that there are WhatsApp chats recovered from my phone. None of those chats relate to cruise party. That is very important. There is no case that any of those chats had anything to do with onset of this saga. To use general phrase of conspiracy, there is no material whatsoever,” he added.

On Monday, Sanjay Gupta lent his support to the actor. He questioned the silence of many of the bigwigs in the film industry since the arrest of the actor’s son. Aryan Khan was arrested in a drug-related case earlier this month.

“Shahrukh Khan has and continues to give jobs and livelihoods to thousands in the film industry. He has always stood up for every cause for the film industry. And the astute silence of the same film industry in his moment of crisis is nothing short of SHAMEFUL,” he tweeted. Mika Singh agreed with Sanjay’s tweet.

“You are absolutely right brother, they all are watching the drama and cannot say even a single word. I’m with @iamsrk. #AryanKhan should be given bail. I think industry mein sabke bache ek baar andar jaayenge, tab jaake yeh unity dikhanyenge.(I think industry will show unity when everyone’s kids will go inside the jail),” Mika’s tweet read.

The first trailer of Tadap, starring Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty will be released today. Suniel shared the Tadap teaser on Twitter on Tuesday and wrote, “A glimpse of my heart for the world. A teaser of what I’ve loved. A humble tease of what is to come #Tadap – a little at a time. So excited for my son #AhanShetty & his teaser of #Tadap. Give him as much love as you gave me.” The film stars Tara Sutaria in the lead role and is said to be a remake of the hit, RX100.

Sooryavanshi, the Diwali biggie starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, will also debut its romantic song, Mere Yaaraa. The song has been sung by Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan. Akshay wrote earlier, “When her one smile makes you smile…let’s cherish the romance with #MereYaaraa, song out tomorrow. Come #BackToCinemas with #Sooryavanshi on 5th November. @katrinakaif @arijitsingh @neetimohan18.”
