Reportedly, Sonam Kapoor ignored Deepika Padukone at a recently held award function. If reports are to be believed, all is not well between the two starlets – Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.

They have been friends before, turned foes with a war of words and then were said to have become friends again. But if reports are to be believed, all is not well between the two starlets – Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.

According to a report published in Mid-Day.com, at a recently held award function Sonam Kapoor was given a seat in the same area as Deepika’s. But when Sonam walked in, she asked the organisers to change her seat as she was not keen to meet Deepika. She was then accommodated in another actors’ group and immediately left after collecting her award.

However, Sonam Kapoor’s spokesperson has denied the whole buzz and has said, “Sonam left long before Deepika even came in; that was an hour before her award was announced. Moreover, she had to rush for a family dinner. Sonam was backstage and on her way out when Deepika walked in. They are absolutely cordial.”

For the uninitiated, the story of Deepika-Sonam’s on-off relationship goes back to the days when Deepika was dating Sonam’s rumoured ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor. After Deepika broke up with Ranbir, she and Sonam made an appearance on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and made some pun intended remarks against Ranbir.

But on this year’s episode of the same talk show, Sonam Kapoor was seen not-so-pleased with Deepika’s success as she commented that she is a ‘good-girl-gone-bad’ and has an over enthusiastic PR team, signifying that things have gone sour between the two.

While we do know that two actresses can’t be friends for long, we still believe that the young actresses of today have it in them to change the rules. Will they?
