Tamil superstar Dhanush, who entered Bollywood with Anand L Rai’s ‘Raanjhanaa’, wished the director on his new venture ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ sequel.
Dhanush took to Twitter to wish luck to ‘Raanjhanaa’ director saying, “My best wishes to Anand l rai on his first day shoot of tanu weds manu 2 :) har har mahadev.”
‘Raajhanaa’ actor was much appreciated for his Bollywood debut with Sonam Kapoor, where he played a typical Banarasi lover boy.
Earlier, Anand L Rai also confirmed that Dhanush might be doing a song in the sequel. “I cannot say at this point whether he will play a cameo or be part of a song but whatever he does will leave an impact. I am working towards it but I think a song will do justice to Dhanush,” Anand L Rai had said.
‘Tanu Weds Manu’ sequel will have the original actors R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.
However Kangana will be seen in a brand new avatar. “You will see Kangana in a completely new avatar and her look will be revealed soon,” the director had said.
‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’ has already started shooting for the film and the lead actor Ranganathan Madhavan has a new look with full grown beard in the film.
