Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie ‘Tamasha’ has been shot in Corsica, and the French Embassy wanted to felicitate the makers of the film for promoting the island. Latest update about the same is that the French embassy has called off the felicitation of Sajid Nadiadwala and Imtiaz Ali due to the recent Paris attacks and the emergency which was declared immediately.
All celebrations and cultural activities have been called off after the attacks.
In Tamasha, the island has been beautifully promoted as it has been shot at appealing locations which has in a way promoted tourism there.
The film’s spokesperson said, “We are sad and shocked to learn about the terrorist attacks in Paris. We extend our heartiest condolences to the people who have suffered and lost in this incident. We stand with the French embassy and tourism department.”
