The holiday season has officially begun and many Bollywood stars have packed their bags and taken to exotic locations to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve with their near and dear ones.

We came across some pictures of Deepika Padukone on Twitter as she entered a resort in Maldives. Dressed in an earthen jacket teamed with off white pants, Deepika was alone as she walked through the passage.

Deepika seems to be enjoying her holidays as she donned the choicest pair of sunglasses as she emerged out of a shopping centre in the city.

Another picture shows her in a chartered plane flying over the island and looking seemingly elated.

Last year, Deepika had rung in the festivities along with her birthday that falls on January 5 in New York. Ranveer Singh had also joined her there. So, will he join her this year too? We shall wait for some news.

Another actress who is enjoying her time off is pretty lady Katrina Kaif. She was speculated to be ringing in the New Year in London at her mother’s place with beau Ranbir Kapoor. But, here she appears alone.

We guess, Ranbir might join her later.
