Bollywood lovers in the United States are having a gala time watching the Shah Rakh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi. Though the Gauri Shinde-directed film will be released in India tomorrow, audience in the US have already watched the most anticipated movie of the year.
The film tells the story of a rising cinematographer Kaira who is in search of a perfect life. She crosses path with Jehangir Khan/ Jug, a psychologist who is also an unconventional thinker. He eventually helps her see the beauty in life despite all its flaws.
From all the reactions we have seen on Twitter, it seems Gauri Shinde has managed to impress the audience again. Shinde is not preachy about her message in her films. Perhaps what works for Shinde is her easy style of story telling about life and its nuances.
Like always, it seems both the actors have done justice to their roles. Although Shah Rukh Khan has played an extended cameo, the actor’s performance is being appreciated by twitterati.\

It seems after Fan, Shah Rukh Khan has managed to regain the trust of his audience in while choosing his scripts. All hopes were lost when the actor made a chain of films that entered the box office with the help of his stardom.
