Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 5: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna‘s historical drama Chhaava is emerging as a huge hit at the box office. The film’s trajectory at the box office kickstarted on a phenomenal note, as it passed the Rs 100 crore mark during its opening weekend itself. While Chhaava saw a dip in its collections on Monday and Tuesday, the film maintained a steady pace. On Monday, the film collected Rs 24 crore, on Tuesday it earned Rs 24.5 crore. With this, the film’s total nett collection in India has hit Rs 165 crore. Chhaava’s gross India collection stands at Rs 168.6 crore so far.

With an amazing run at the box office, Chhaava has emerged as Vicky Kaushal’s second-highest grosser after Uri: The Surgical Strike (244.14 crore), Vicky Kaushal’s latest film has surpassed Raazi and Sam Bahadur’s lifetime collections. As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava’s worldwide collection stands at Rs 195.6 crore, with the film’s overseas earnings standing at Rs 27 crore. According to the official figures announced by the makers, Chhaava earned Rs 145.53 crore at the domestic box office in four days.

On Tuesday, the overall occupancy for Chhaava was 32.52 percent. Pune continues to dominate with the highest occupancy; on Tuesday it was 69 percent with 705 shows. In Mumbai, the occupancy for Chhaava was 54 percent with 1419 shows, and in Delhi-NCR the occupancy was 18 percent with 1318 shows. Hyderabad had an occupancy of 36.50 percent with 323 shows, while in Chennai the occupancy was 23.50 with 76 shows. While Maharashtra is witnessing the best response of Chhaava, the film is also seeing a great reception in the Southern states.

Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in important roles.
