Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter Ira Khan is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on Wednesday. Ahead of their much-awaited wedding, the would-be bride and groom got a little goofy on social media as they showered love on each other.
Ira Khan posted a mirror selfie in which she was seen wearing a hairband which read, ‘Bride to be’. She captioned the photo, “Ready!! I am going to wear this all day.” Later, she was seen stepping out to visit a salon in the same outfit, wearing the same hairband. Nupur reposted Ira’s post on his Instagram story, and wrote, “Wohooooo Let’s Goooo”. He added a heart-eyed emoji.

Later, a video of Ira stepping out of a salon surfaced on social media. In the video, she was seen sporting red hair. Videos of Ira’s mother Reena and Nupur’s mother also surfaced as they stepped out on their children’s wedding day.
Earlier, Nupur had shared a glimpse of his pre-wedding festivities. In the photo, he and Ira were dressed in traditional Maharashtrian outfits. “One more day of being your fiancée @khan.ira ❤️😘 I love you so much,” he wrote along with the photos. Ira’s cousin Zayn Marie also posted pictures from the couple’s haldi and mehendi ceremony, which took place at Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai.
Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, Azad Rao, and Junaid Khan attended the festivities. Meanwhile, Aamir’s house in Mumbai has been decked up with lights as the family prepared for Ira’s wedding.

In an earlier interview with News18, Aamir had said that he would be crying a lot at Ira’s wedding as he is quite emotional. “Main toh bada emotional hota hoon bhai, uss din main bahut rone waala hoon yeh toh tay hai. (I’m extremely emotional, and I’m going to cry a lot at Ira’s wedding, that’s for sure). Discussions have already begun in the family that ‘Aamir ko sambaalna uss din (take care of Aamir that day)’ because I am very emotional. I can’t control my smile nor my tears,” the actor said.
Ira and Nupur got engaged in November 2022. It was an intimate ceremony, and was attended by celebrities like Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mansoor Khan, and Imran Khan, among others.
