Salman Khan-starrer Judwaa, which had released in 1997, went on to become a popular film and it seems Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2, the remake of original will follow suit. During the release of Judwaa 2, Salman himself had said that the remake will do much better than the original film and it seems his words are turning true.

This David Dhawan directorial, which had released on September 29, has been entertaining the audience and getting immense love from them even in the third week. Despite some new releases at the box office, Judwaa 2 remains strong.

The movie collected Rs 2.82 crore on the third Sunday taking the total box office collection to Rs 133.03 crore in India. The third-weekend collection of Judwaa 2 stands at 7.19cr which is higher compared to other hit films such as JollyLLB2 (Rs 4.98 crore) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (Rs 6.37 crore).

In the overseas markets, Judwaa2 has collected $6.02million (Rs 39.5 crore) in the third weekend taking the total worldwide collection to Rs 210.05 crore. The power packed star cast of Judwaa 2, which also consists of Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez, is winning hearts worldwide with its entertaining content.

Now, with two major releases at the box office this week, Golmaal and Secret Superstar, on the occasion of Diwali, it would be interesting to see if Varun’s film keeps consistency in its performance.
