Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Again’ is unstoppable. Collecting a whopping total of Rs 153.94 crore, looks like Golmaal Again is here to stay giving other films a run for their money. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh says, “#GolmaalAgain is in no mood to slow down… Is a RAGE at the BO… [Week 2] Fri 7.25 cr, Sat 10.61 cr. Total: ₹ 153.94 cr. India biz.”
Making a business of Rs 10.61 crore on its second Saturday is a feat only a masala Rohit Shetty entertainer could achieve. Rohit had earned a name for himself after directing the 2006 comedy film, ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’ starring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi. In the second film, Sharman Joshi parted ways with the franchise and was substituted by Shreyas Talpade. Since then these four actors have been the main characters of the franchise. This time the film had new addition of actors, who were Parineeti Chopra and Tabu.
