Badhaai Ho box office collection day 8: Badhaai Ho box office collection day 8: Ayushmann Khurrana film has earned Rs 66.10 crore.

Badhaai Ho has garnered immense love and praise from the audience. Week one is over and the movie continues to rule the box office. On day 8 of its release, the earnings of the light-hearted comedy flick, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, stand at Rs 66.10 crore.

The film is about a family dealing with an unplanned pregnancy of an elderly couple and the laughter riot that follows.

Calling it an incredible feat, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted out the box office figures of Badhaai Ho. He wrote, “#BadhaaiHo hits the ball out of the park… Proves all calculations and estimations wrong… Puts up a SUPERB TOTAL in its extended Week 1… Thu 7.35 cr, Fri 11.85 cr, Sat 12.80 cr, Sun 13.70 cr, Mon 5.65 cr, Tue 5.50 cr, Wed 5 cr, Thu 4.25 cr. Total: ₹ 66.10 cr. India biz.”

The Indian Express Shubhra Gupta praised Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao’s performances. In her review, she wrote,”Badhaai Ho is fashioned as a comedy of manners, as it goes about showing us nosey neighbours and nasty relatives and garish weddings in the very middle-class society that the Kaushiks inhabit. And as long as the film is in the hands of the veterans, with Gupta coming up with a pitch-perfect performance as a loving wife, mother, dutiful daughter-in-law, while also being her own person, and Rao keeping in step with her, it works. We gasp just as they do when they hear the ‘good news’, we smile when we see the tender sizzle between the two: just for the fact of showing that parents can have sexual feelings for each other, Badhaai Ho needs to be congratulated.”

Despite the competition from Saif Ali Khan’s Baazaar, which is this week’s big release, Badhaai Ho is going strong in its extended week.
