Baar Baar Dekho’s Kala Chashma has been everywhere ever since it came out. Starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra, the music of Baar Baar Dekho has been composed by different composers who all bring their distinct personalities to the music. From party numbers to wedding songs to heartbreak special to just-fallen-in-love numbers, Baar Baar Dekho music album has it all.
Baar Baar Dekho’s wedding song is also the party anthem of the year. The song Kala Chashma has been composed and recreated by Badshah, with vocals of Amar Arshi, Badshah and Neha Kakkar. If you thought the old version of Kala Chashma had swag, check out Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra grooving to this one.
Teri Khaer Mangdi
This is the ultimate heartbreak number, you know the one in which you wish your ex well but can’t stop crying. The one you listen on loop as tissues fill up the rubbish bin. Teri Khaer Mandgi is an original 2011 song by Pakistani singer Bilal Saeed.
Kho Gaye Hum Kahan
Jasleen Royal and Prateek Kuhad come together to sing Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. The song feels like the first touch of romance, of breeze, of getting drenched in rain for the first time and of midnight conversations. Kuhad proves again why he has become the voice of indie music in the country, he is silky smooth in the song.
Sung by Neeti Mohan, Armaan Malika and composed by Amaal Malik, this is the peppy romantic track. You have heard such songs before and while it is foot-tapping, you would be hardpressed to remember exactly what it was a few hours later.
This one is going on our playlist. Sung and composed by Arko, the lyrics will stay after you long after you have switched the song off. Dariya tells the story of Heer Ranjha. Music is secondary to lyrics here, listen to it late in evening.
Nachde Ne Saare
We said Baar Baar Dekho had one wedding song. Scratch that, it has two. Along with Kaala Chashma, Naachde Ne Saare will have wedding guests matching steps to its beats. Jasleen Royal composes and sings Nachde Ne Saare with Harshdeep Kaur and Siddharth Mahadevan (is it just us or he sounds exactly like Shankar).
