Aryan Khan has rightfully become one of the most talked-about names in recent months following the release of his debut series The Ba***ds of Bollywood on Netflix. As the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan’s creative venture naturally drew attention, not just for his work as a storyteller, but also for the glimpse it offered into his artistic sensibilities. Now, curiosity around Aryan extends beyond the screen, with many wondering what he’s like in real life. Recently, choreographer Mudassar Khan, who worked on the songs in the series, shared an anecdote from the making of the show, revealing Aryan’s deep respect and humility even when interacting with his legendary father.
Talking to the Hindi Rush podcast, he said: “Our process was like I had a made a reference video for how the song would be, and then me and Aryan had showed it to Shah Rukh sir in his vanity van. That moment was of great learning for me. Because he was sitting in his vanity, and me and Aryan went inside, and Aryan was waiting all the while as Shah Rukh sir was talking to somebody on phone. So he waited until he turned his head towards us. And eventually when he did look at us, Aryan addressed him as ‘sir’ and said, ‘Sir, we have made something for the song, would you like to see it?’ And he immediately said yes yes, and then we showed him what we had done.”
Mudassar went on to describe how the moment stayed with him, not just for Aryan’s professionalism, but for his grace and manners. “After he watched he said very good and then before he left he kept his hand on my head. And we had also made another pre-visualisation asset so that it could help us on set to shoot effectively and without any delays. So as he was leaving I immediately asked Aryan that should we also show him the other video. And then Aryan asked him by saying ‘Sir, if you have time, can we show you one more video?’ And I was stunned to see him say that because if I was in his place I would have been like ‘Daddy, see what I have done.'”

Mudassar also spoke warmly about Aryan’s personality off camera, calling him grounded and deeply respectful toward everyone on set. “I had the best time working on the show. His manners, his humility, I was very impressed and it reminded me of the environment from where I have come from. Whenever you go to meet him, he always comes all the way down to drop you. Even if you tell him that there’s no need for it, he always insists, ‘No, I’ll come with you downstairs.’ He is always very humble and it is not only in his manners but it is also like when you are shooting, and then a light dada suggests something then he will go and say ‘Excuse me, can you tell again what you said?’ So he is somebody who takes suggestions from everyone. He is very respectful, and doesn’t want anyone to feel bad, and always insists upon hearing the other person’s opinion.”
Drawing a comparison to another superstar he’s close to, Salman Khan, Mudassar added: “It felt very personal to work with him. Very much like the environment you get to work with Salman sir. You have lots of fun but also respect each other, work well, and talk to each other with most manners.”
While there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet, several cast members of The Ba***ds of Bollywood have hinted that Aryan is already working on the show’s second season.
