Arshad Warsi to play gangster in Manish Vatsalya’s ‘Babloo’

After having done socially relevant and light hearted roles in films like ‘Jolly LLB’ and ‘Mr Joe B Carvalho’, it now seems that Arshad Warsi is all set to try his hand with really serious roles. Maybe that explains the reason as to why he has signed a film named ‘Babloo’, which is a story about a UP gangster Babloo Shrivastava.

This film, which is being directed Manish Vatsalya, is expected to go on the floor by the end of this year. Speaking about the film, Manish Vatsalya said that they will be shooting at real locations in India and abroad.

Arshad Warsi seems to be on a roll with this being his fourth film in the pipeline. The actor, who will be soon seen in ‘The Legend Of Michael Mishra’ and ‘Guddu Rangeela’ along with Aditi Rao Hydari, has even signed ‘Welcome To Karachi’ which was launched with much fanfare recently.
