Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli celebrating Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) IPL trophy win after 18 long years on Tuesday made many fans emotional. After celebrating RCB’s win with Virat on the field, Anushka has now shared videos of accompanying the cricketer and his team as they travelled together through Bengaluru in the victory parade. RCB’s bus was seen flanked by fans storming the roads of Bengaluru to welcome the winning team.

In the videos, Virat is seen sitting in the front of the bus holding the IPL trophy. Anushka is seated behind him, recording the video as they greet fans cheering for the team. The clip shows a sea of fans taking to the streets to welcome the RCB players. She wrote in the caption, “Namma Bengaluru current scenes.” In another clip, Anushka captured elated fans waving to the cricketers as they stood on the side of the road. Acknowledging the fans’ happiness, she wrote, “These happy faces have waited for this very lovingly and patiently.”

After the IPL finals, Virat dedicated his win to his wife. He said at the match, “It’s been 11 years for her as well, you know. Relentlessly coming to games, watching tough games, watching us just miss out. What your life partner does for you to be able to play, and the sacrifices, and the commitment, and just backing you through thick and thin, is something you can’t explain in words. Only when you play professionally, you understand the amount of things that go on behind the scenes, and what they go through as well.”

The cricketer also took to Instagram to share an emotional note and acknowledging Anushka’s constant support in his demanding career. He wrote, “I’ve seen it for 18 years and she’s seen it for 11. Suffered the same moments since 2014 and celebrated every close win and the madness of our supporters at the Chinnaswamy. We’re both equally relieved and since shes a bangalore girl too this is far more special for her. Together all the way through ❤️❤️❤️ @anushkasharma.”
