Anupam Kher calls Kangana Ranuat ‘rockstar’ after Mandi win, Simmi Garewal congratulates Rahul Gandhi after Lok Sabha election results

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher congratulated Kangana for her victory in Mandi. He shared a video featuring the actress with her mother, and called her a ‘rockstar’. He wrote: “My dearest #Kangana! CONGRATULATIONS on your HUGE Victory! You are a #ROCKSTAR. Your journey is so so inspirational! So happy for you and the people of #Mandi and #HimachalPradesh. You have proved time and again that if one is focused and works hard toh kuch bhi hosakta hai. Jai Ho! #MemberParliament #KanganaRanaut #Winner”. This was Kangana’s first time contesting elections, and she won the seat by a significant margin.

Actor-politician Suresh Gopi celebrated his win in Kerala’s Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency on June 4. Prominent Malayalam actors Mammootty and Mohanlal extended their congratulations to their fellow actor. With this victory, the BJP finally secured its first seat in Kerala. Suresh Gopi received congratulations from numerous celebrities and fans. Mammootty posted, “Hearty congrats dear Suresh on your victory,” alongside a picture.

Suresh Gopi, an accomplished actor, politician, playback singer, and television presenter, has predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema but has also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi films. He has acted in over 250 films. His last film, Garudan (2023), received positive reviews.

On Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan’s wife, Anna Lezhneva, became emotional as videos from their home surfaced online, showing Anna performing a puja for him, while their son Akira joined them. In the video shared on X, Pawan made his first appearance amid his impending win, standing patiently as Anna applied a tilak on his forehead and performed the puja. Pawan’s son, Akira Nandan, from his previous marriage to Renu Desai, also participated in the celebrations. Party workers chanted Pawan’s name as Anna and Akira greeted them outside the couple’s house, with Anna fighting back tears as they celebrated Pawan’s lead in the elections.

Actor director and talk show host, Simi Garewal, also reacted to the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.  She took to her X (formerly Twitter) to react to the BJP’s underperformance in Lok Sabha elections. “What a political thriller! What an eye-opener! What lessons to be learned! Arrogance was avenged. Injustice was punished & those persecuted were redeemed. I’m in awe of the wisdom of the Janta. They are more prudent & insightful than politicians realise.” She further praised Rahul Gandhi and added, “@RahulGandhi you campaigned with courage, compassion & dignity. Proud of you. I wish Rajiv-ji could see you now! (sic).”
