Rajkumar Hirani’s talented young son Vir Hirani has finished shooting his second short film. The film, which is yet untitled, is about a family man and how he tries to find balance in his life. The short film stars actor Anil Mange who was last seen in Singh is Bliing and had also acted as Lord Shiva in Rajkumar Hirani’s PK. Actress Rukhsar Rehman, who played the Pakistani embassy receptionist in PK, will be seen playing Anil’s wife in the short film.

Vir, who seems all set to follow his illustrious father’s footsteps in future, reportedly impressed one and all with his meticulous directorial skills. Says a source, “Although it was just a two day shoot, everyone was left impressed with Vir’s direction. He is very precise like his father about what he wants in a shot. The shoot was very well-organised with proper cast and crew. His father did visit once but it was Vir who was in control at all times.”

Vir’s debut film Return Gift had earlier premiered at the 18th International Children’s Film Festival of India in Hyderabad.
