Amitabh Bachchan is called the Shahenshah of Bollywood and there’s a reason for it. He is the man who needs no introduction. When he is onscreen, it’s difficult not to pay attention to this 6-feet of brilliance. What endears him even more is his humility. But even the most humble person can lose his temper. The 73-years-old megastar recently expressed his anger to a media website which uploaded some of his pictures after being clearly told not to do so.

A couple of days, Amitabh Bachchan was snapped in a colourful Bohemian look when he was on his way to shoot for an advertisement in Mumbai on Saturday (August 21). But as soon he was clicked, Big B requested the photographers to not click his pictures since his look was being guarded by his client to for an ad campaign. He also told the photographers that he will give them his pictures in normal dress after the shoot gets over. And the photographers agreed and promised that they would not give away any images with the look. But the very next day, a few websites carried the images. An angry Amitabh took to Twitter to express his thoughts. In a series of tweets, Big B mentioned how it was not ethical to print his pictures which he clearly requested not to.

And the incident could hardly have gone unnoticed after that. And as a result, the Shahenshah of Bollywood received an open apology letter from the photographer and Big B again took to social media to appreciate the gesture.

He was so touched with the honesty of the letter that he posted it on his blog with the writer’s consent. Calling it as a rare occurrence, Big B wrote, “I have to admit that in my entire professional career of 47 years, I have never ever received such an apology or an acknowledgement. Thank you for your honesty and the respect that you have found in my heart. This is a rare occurrence, and I shall always treasure it. I seek your permission to print this letter of yours, on my Social Media platforms, not because it comes in my favour, but because it sets a wonderful example on the credibility and ethics of the media – something that I have sincerely believed in. I would understand your disallowance if you were to negate this request. Thank you again. With great regard and admiration.”

And this is something which gives us another reason to love him even more than we do.
