50 years of Amitabh Bachchan: Abhishek, KJo, Ekta and others write heartfelt notes

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's debut film Saat Hindustani was released on November 7, 1969.

Amitabh Bachchan has completed 50 years in the Hindi film industry. His debut film Saat Hindustani clocked 50 years on Thursday, leaving fans of Big B elated. And among the many congratulatory wishes that came his way, son Abhishek also left a heartfelt note.

A self-proclaimed fan of his father, Abhishek took to his social media handles on Thursday and shared a throwback image of Bachchan senior. He wrote along, “Not just as a son, but as an actor and a fan… We are all blessed to witness greatness! There is so much to admire, to learn and even more to appreciate. Several generations of cinema lovers get to say we lived in the times of BACHCHAN!!! Congratulations Pa on completing 50 years in the Film industry. We now await the next 50!
