Ameesha Patel, who was last seen in the blockbuster Gadar 2, a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar, may be away from the screens, but she ensures that she keeps treating her fans to her day-to-day updates and stays in touch with them through social media. In a fun AMA session on X (formerly Twitter), the Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai actor candidly answered fan questions, revealing updates on Gadar 3 and Humraaz 2 and also spilling the beans on her marriage.
An X user asked Ameesha who her favourite star kid is, and without wasting time, she answered, “For me, the cutest kids in Bollywood have always been Kareena’s son Taimur and SRK’s Abram. These two are simply damn cute.”
When a fan asked her if she will be seen in Gadar 3, the actor answered, “As I said, if offered and if I’m super happy with my role, then only shall I do it. Mr. Anil Sharma is family to me and always will be. Our creative differences are for the betterment of the film, but our respect and fondness for each other go way deeper than all this. So yes, if we are on the same page, then I will happily do Gadar 3.”
Answering a fan question about participating in Bigg Boss, she said, “I was in Bigg Boss as a MAALKIN years back. Ghar ke andar, not possible in this life for me. I would rather roam in London and shop than be inside. I love and respect others who are participating and admire them, but it’s not for me for sure.”
The actor also praised Kartik Aaryan and said that she “always admired Kartik Aaryan.” “He’s a great dancer, a great actor, and very humble. Even in Chandu Champion, he’s simply outstanding. He will surely be a 300 and 400 crore-plus star at the box office someday. He has all the potential to achieve it,” she added.
When a fan poked fun that both Ameesha and Salman Khan are unmarried and if there is a possibility of the two getting married in the future, the 49-year-old joked, “Salman is not married and nor am I? So you feel we should get married? What’s your key point for us to get married – shaadi or a film project?” The actor also revealed that she is willing to get married but is unable to find a groom. “Ladka nahin mil raha hai. I am ready since long,” she quipped.
A fan tweeted, “In Gadar 3, can your screen time be increased, please? I genuinely slept in scenes where you were not there. I visit theatres with my hard-earned money to see you.” Ameesha, defending the film and her role, replied, “Firstly, Gadar 2 was a great film, and the screenplay was executed as per the script; it’s very important to keep that as the top priority if you want your film to be loved. As an actor, one can’t be selfish and must keep the film before our needs. I love Sakina (her Gadar character) and I value the love you all have towards Sakina. But yes, if offered Gadar 3, I will surely only do it if I’m super happy with the script, as I was in Gadar 1.”

The actor during the session also spoke about Humraaz 2 being in the pipeline. “Script work is fully on for Humraaz 2 as per Abbas-Mustanji. My super cool Bobby has done a dhamaka in Animal, so we need a script of that level, which the directors and producers are working on. This is all I know. Once I know more, I will surely let all fans know,” she shared
The questions that followed included fans asking her about her favourite superstar from the South, to which Ameesha responded, “I have worked with all of them. From Pawan Kalyan to Mahesh Babu to Junior NTR and also Balakrishna. In Tamil, I have worked with Vijay. They are all simply outstanding.”
