All’s very well between Shahid and Mira: Neelima Azeem

Shahid Kapoor and his pretty wife Mira Rajput have settled into matrimonial bliss in Mumbai. Shahid, being the perfect gentleman, is taking extra care to make sure that Mira, who hails from Delhi, is comfortable in the maximum city. From accompanying her to gyms to other couple outings, Shahid is playing the role of the loving husband.

When we asked Shahid’s mother Neelima Azeem on how well her daughter-in-law Mira (Rajput) has adjusted to the Mumbai lifestyle, the danseuse actress said: “I don’t know if I should be saying anything but yes, all is very well.”

Neelima and her ex husband Pankaj Kapur along with his family have also had family dinners with the newlyweds and it was described by Neelima as, “All’s really lovely.”

Neelima also narrated an anecdote from Shahid’s wedding where both she and her two sons performed together for the very first time.

“All three of us, me, Shahid and Ishaan did informally perform on stage at Shahid’s wedding and people went absolutely crazy. It was on filmy numbers that we danced on. Initially Ishaan and Shahid were dancing together. Then Shahid pulled me on to the stage and I did my bit. Everyone present there loved it and they realised where my sons have inherited their dancing skills,” narrated Neelima.

Shahid Kapoor had married Mira Rajput on July 7 in New Delhi and later the couple hosted a reception in Mumbai.
