Akshay Kumar yet to take call on remake of ‘Kaththi’

Akshay Kumar said: “Yes I am approached for the film (Kaththi). I have not decided about it (doing the film or not).”

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is yet to decide on doing remake version of Tamil film “Kaththi”.

Directed by A R Murugadoss, “Kaththi”, an action drama film features actor Vijay in dual roles along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others.

The film will be remade in Hindi.

“Yes I am approached for the film. I have not decided about it (doing the film or not),” Akshay said here in a media interaction.

The “Khiladi” actor has worked with director Murugadoss in “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty”.

“Kaththi” revolves around the tale of Kathiresan and Jeevanantham who are lookalikes and focuses on the issue of farmers committing suicide due to corporate encroachment.
