Bollywood ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar is all praise for his ‘Shaukeen’ co-star Lisa Haydon. The actor, who recently shot for the first scene of the film with Lisa Haydon, says that the actress was ‘born for the big screen.’
Akshay Kumar posted a picture (below) of the film’s first shot saying, “1st shot of my new film ‘SHAUKEEN’. It’s been a great day! Well done Lisa Haydon, fab job! U were born for the big screen!”
‘Shaukeen’, a remake of Basu Chatterjee’s 1982 hit, will see Lisa Haydon essaying the role of Akshay Kumar’s girlfriend, whom three old men – played by Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra will be seen lusting after.
Lisa Haydon was last seen as the bohemian French waitress in Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’. Lisa Haydon had earned phenomenal reviews for her role as Vijay Laxmi in the film. Indian Express reviewer Shubhra Gupta said, “Lisa Haydon nearly walks off with the film in her small role. She doesn’t place a single foot wrong as she strides long and smooth next to the diminutive Kangana.”
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Shaukeen’ is slated for release later this year.
