On Tuesday, several A-list actors and industry stalwarts visited Dharmendra's residence to offer their condolences to the family.

The passing of veteran superstar Dharmendra at the age of 89 on Monday has plunged the nation into mourning. Fans across the country are grappling with the loss, reflecting on the countless on-screen memories he leaves behind. Bollywood, too, is struggling to come to terms with the void left by the legend, one that can never be filled.  On Tuesday, several A-list actors and industry stalwarts visited the late actor’s residence to offer their condolences to the family.

Ranbir Kapoor arrived with his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, to offer their condolences. They were not the only members of the Kapoor family to visit; Karisma Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan had stopped by earlier in the day. Ajay Devgn also arrived to pay offer his condolences. Farah Khan, Ananya Panday, Bhavna Panday, Chunky Panday, Maheep Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor were also spotted arriving at the Deol residence. Abhay Deol, a relative of Dharmendra, had also visited earlier in the day.

Last night, Aryan Khan visited the residence to express his condolences. Preity Zinta was also among those who arrived, along with Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra, Zayed Khan with his sister Sussanne Khan, and Kajol. At the funeral held on Monday, Bollywood’s elite gathered to bid farewell. The “three Khans”, Salman, Aamir, and Shah Rukh, were present, as were Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek, Govinda, Anil Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt.

Dharmendra was set to celebrate his 90th birthday on December 8. His final film, Ikkis, a war drama directed by Sriram Raghavan and featuring Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat, is scheduled for a Christmas release. In an exclusive conversation with SCREEN, the film’s co-writer Pooja Ladha Surti shared that the movie will include a special tribute to the late legend. She said, “Yes, I am sure Sriram and Dinoo (Dinesh Vijan, producer) will do that. His final performance will speak more than any tribute from us, I feel.”
