That Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is playing a perfect bahu is no news, because this has been the order since her marriage to Abhishek Bachchan. Aishwarya Rai has played the Bachchan bahu to the T. And the former Miss World is now taking this a step further by planning a special birthday bash for her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan.
Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan turns 72 on October 11 and the Bachchan bahu wants to celebrate this occasion with much pomp and show. She has invited all of Big B’s close friends at the bash and is personally taking care of the minutae.

Aishwarya has been planning for the surprise party for the past two weeks. But the surprise isn’t surprising enough as Big B got to know about the plans two days back and now, he knows it all. But we’re sure, he must be too happy at this love showered at him.
Sources say the party is still on and a five star hotel has been booked for the same. Big B’s daughter Shweta Nanda has flown in to Mumbai from Delhi to be with her dad.
The party is scheduled for tonight.
