Filmmaker Karan Johar may have been upbeat about him appearing in All India Bakchod’s Knockout ‘roast’ing the cool cats of the younger generation – Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor and almost all the stars may be supporting him too, but apparently two of his closest friends in the industry – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan – have disapproved of this move of KJo’s.
According to a report published in Mumbai Mirror, “SRK and Salman have criticised Karan for participating in the act, especially when his mother was sitting in the front row, the entire time.”
It’s also reported that after the show got over, KJo was confiding in his close friends that his mother, contrary to the common belief, had no problem with the jokes and ‘filthy’ language used in the show.
Also, famous milk products’ brand, Amul, has come out in support of the AIB Roast controversy and has expressed in its own unique way.
The ‘roast’ was, though, said to be of Ranveer and Arjun, but seems like it’s Karan, who’s having a rather adventurous time after the show.
