AIB, AIB Knockout, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra and Karan Johar have tweeted in support of AIB Roast videos.

The dust around the All India Bakchod’s (AIB) ‘Roast’ of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor doesn’t seem to be settling down soon. After being accused of obscenity and foul language, the videos have now been removed from Youtube, till the investigation over the charges is completed.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has also, allegedly, warned to ban Karan Johar, Ranveer and Arjun’s movies.

The stars involved in the aforementioned ‘roast’ have not taken the matters lightly and tweeted to show their disapproval over the incidents that have followed, though, in their politically correct manner.

Parineeti Chopra is the latest movie star to have tweeted and supported AIB as she took to Twitter and asked the people not to watch the ‘roast’ videos if they don’t like it.

Karan Johar, who was subjected to jokes over his sexuality during the show and even after the show concluded, took to Twitter and in his own queer yet witty way suggested the people to learn to take jokes on themselves.

Alia Bhatt, who is often made fun of for her lack of general knowledge, was also a butt of jokes at the AIB event. Yet, she laughed her way. She also tweeted yesterday and advised others ‘not to take life seriously’.

Sonakshi Sinha, whose relationship status with Arjun Kapoor became quite apparent at the AIB Knockout, has also taken to the micro blogging site to vent off her ire.

Interestingly, the two people who were ‘roasted’ the most and literally ‘burnt’ – Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor – haven’t said anything regarding the whole issue; nor has Deepika Padukone, whose relationship with Ranveer was another point of jokes at the event.

Many other movie stars including Anushka Sharma, Rajkummar Rao and Huma Qureshi had also taken to Twitter to praise the 90-minute-long ‘Roast’.

Not only KJo’s loved ones, but also his frenemy Ram Gopal Varma, who has often been involved in several war of words with the filmmaker tweeted in to show support.

But not all stars take jokes lightly, as Anil Kapoor was reportedly miffed over AIB making fun of his accent and his brother Sanjay Kapoor and nephew Arjun Kapoor laughing over it. Also, Salman Khan was said to be disappointed as Arjun’s relationship with Salman’s sister Arpita was made fun of as Arpita was, reportedly, called ‘ugly’. This bit, though, was not made live in the edited Youtube version.

Censor Board member Ashoke Pandit had taken offence to the videos and targetted Karan Johar in his tweets, which angered the twitteratti.

AIB, a comedy collective run by Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi, Ashish Shakya and Gursimran Khamba, became the talking point of the nation as soon the ‘Roast’ videos of Ranveer and Arjun came out. The twitter-verse is divided over the videos as three hashtags – including #AIBRoast, AIB National Shame and #WeStandByAIB – have been trending since yesterday on Twitter.
