Sonakshi Sinha Sonakshi Sinha was trolled mercilessly on Twitter, with some tweets also being directed at her father, actor and politician, Shatrughan Sinha.

Known to be extremely vocal and expressive about her opinions, Sonakshi Sinha joined the social media outrage against the week-long ban on the slaughter and sale of meat, which has been proposed due to a Jain festival of fasting.

However, just like her fellow actor Sonam Kapoor, who also received a number of hate messages and unpleasant responses to her tweet, Sonakshi too was trolled mercilessly on Twitter, with some tweets also being directed at her father, actor and politician, Shatrughan Sinha. The actress even began trending on Twitter on Tuesday (September 8).

Sonakshi’s haters went so far as to dig up a 2014 tweet in which she had urged for the protection of animals against the import and sale of animal-tested cosmetics.

Not one to back down, Sonakshi further tweeted demanding why there is no ban on ignorance and intelligence.

Sonakshi Sinha, who is currently in Budapest shooting for her next film, ‘Force 2’, also tweeted that Twitter is not a place to express opinions and that trolls can only have a say there.
